Overview

Description
DVP-740D is a compact core-alignment fiber optic fusion splicer with extensive functionality. It is equipped with a replaceable 5200 mAh rechargeable battery that features a charge indicator and can be easily replaced by the user. The battery charge is sufficient for 260 cycles of splicing and heat shrinking.
The device allows splicing of the most common fibers, including those with reduced bending loss, such as G.657. With its universal clamps, it is possible to splice flat distribution cables, such as FTTH or patch cord cables with a diameter of 3 mm. In addition, the DVP-740D has the capability to splice fiber in SOC connectors. For this purpose, the package includes special replaceable clamps for the carriage and the heating oven.
This fusion splicer is ready to operate in harsh conditions, as it features a rubber cover that protects the housing from mechanical damage and can function at low temperatures and high humidity.
