Description
LC/APC green fiber optic connectors are used in optical SFP transceivers, some network equipment, and in distribution panels where a high density of optical ports is required. LC connectors are a smaller version of SC connectors.
The connector ferrule is beveled at an angle of 8-9°, which makes the fiber end face tighter, and reflects light through its bevel angle to the cladding instead of returning directly to the light source, providing better connection performance.
The connector is made of plastic and has a locking latch, which is used in modular connectors of copper cable systems (RJ-45 locking system). The diameter of the connector's ferrule is 1.25 mm. The LC/APC connector guarantees a fast, high-quality, and reliable connection.
