Overview
Description
AFL TPPM-XG - FlowScout is a PON power meter that identifies, measures, and qualifies both downstream and upstream signal levels in FTTx PON networks. It is perfect for technicians responsible for activating and maintaining networks carrying a mix of GPON/EPON, video, and next-gen PON (XG/XGS-PON, 10GEPON) wavelengths. The FlowScout is suitable for both novice and expert technicians and requires no setup, with little, if any, training needed. Fast and easy reporting capabilities are provided by a built-in QR code generator to speed up results sharing with coworkers.
The FlowScout PON power meter is designed to meet the demands of the outside plant environment. It easily withstands the one-meter drop test and has splash-resistant controls that are easy to use, even with gloves on. A range of field-swappable output adapters enables access for cleaning optical ports and supports multiple connector styles. The efficient design provides a long test time from a rechargeable Li-Polymer battery and is equipped with an auto-off feature to save power.
