EXFO FTB-1-730B-M1 is a high-performance handheld single-mode optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) suitable for fieldwork applications and supporting live fiber troubleshooting, FTTH/PON testing though optical splitters, access network testing (P2P), and metro links testing (P2P).

This OTDR fulfills a range of testing needs at different stages of fiber network deployment and maintenance by enabling an in-depth examination of the various elements that comprise the link, the identification of potential issues with fiber, and the location of network faults, including the calculation of total link length, total link loss, fiber attenuation, optical return loss (ORL).
