Description

EXFO MAXTESTER MAX-715B-M2 is a rugged, lightweight, and handy OTDR with a 7-inch, outdoor-enhanced touchscreen and tablet-inspired design perfect for singlemode fiber installation. The device is used to determine the signal attenuation in optical fibers, as well as to estimate losses on welded joints, connectors, and macrobends. The OTDR has an intuitive GUI with icon-based functions, instant boot-up, automatic macrobend finders as well as improved auto and real-time modes. The built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation.

EXFO MAXTESTER MAX-715B-M2 is iOLM-ready (it is an application designed to simplify OTDR testing by eliminating the need to configure parameters, and/or analyze and interpret multiple complex OTDR traces). Fully featured, entry-level, compact, and lightweight, this device is ideal for optical work in the field.
