Description
EXFO FIP-420B is an advanced USB-wired model of the highly popular FIP-400B inspection probe product line. This inspection probe is designed to carry out a comprehensive automated check of the health status and quality of optical connectors, which directly impact the quality of fiber optical connections. The device integrates a number of core functions necessary for inspecting and testing optical patchcord connectors and optical patch panels.
Thanks to three available magnification levels enabling the detection of imperceptible contaminants at the periphery of optical connectors, a convenient color indication of connector test results, small size, stable hold, rugged design, and safety for the eyes, EXFO FIP-420B is an excellent choice for fiber optical networks professionals.
EXFO FIP-420B can display real time video images of connector end-faces and save images to the memory of the device.
